My Dream Life

Nothing but nature: silenced away from the honks & screams of a city. Pure water that fills the wells, streams & rivers. Fresh veggies cultivated from farm (No confusion as to choose the best organic food from a grocery store or super market). A life that has space for cattle, trees & cultivation. Honestly, all these sound so good even to think off. But the real question is, will I ever manage to live this life in reality? I am affirmative that I will.
Wake up during dawn, watch the sun rise, feeds the chickens & cattle, clean the front yard & back yard of the house with cow dung mixed in water (best natural anti bacterial solution), milk the cows, head to the farm land for farming work, just identify myself with my soil....be one and the same, working until evening, returning before dusk to settle the house old chores, to cook for everyone before they return from farm and give food to as much people as u can. A life without Television, mobile & not to think of the rat race. A life that my fore fathers lived. I hope to learn the farming techniques some day soon. Most of it have vanished from the face of earth. Whatever little survives, hope to learn it soon. Hoping to bring a positive change in rain water harvesting in the my village. It was once a land filled with water which is not the case now. Its completely dry with absolutely little water left in the water belts. Planning to adopt two village to help with rain water harvesting & tree planting. Probably Anna Hazare's story did inspire me.
Just live a life that is more dependent on nature than on anything else - a life with Nature.

Courage & Attitude - got to know the real meaning

How does it feel when you have one leg not as able as the other and when you have to put some extra effort to walk? Now, how does it feel when you have 9 others in a basketball court running at good speed and you are left behind?
Will you have the courage to come out to the court and play with others who can run faster than you, who will be able to jump as high as the net and you will still be down defending them, who can easily defend you because you simply can't afford to dribble the ball as efficient as them, even when you can't chase your defence once they have crossed? Will your answer be YES?
I wonder how many of us would be able to say Yes for this. But I did meet a person in the basket ball court yesterday who had this courage to match the other 9 players in their game. For the first few minutes he played with such an amazing spirit and enthusiasm that I failed to note his dis ability. It was after a couple of minutes into the game when I had to switch to defend him and wondered why he was not as fast as me and happened to see that one of his leg was polio attacked. I was shocked for a second and all these thoughts came up in my mind, however we continued with our game.

Will you have the same attitude if you were in his position?
